What the hell, CNN?

Have you all at CNN lost your ever-loving minds? What the hell does this headline mean, anyway:

Baseball team denies an executive taunted women reporters during their World Series berth celebration

I mean, seriously. What does “their” refer to? “Team” is a singular noun. “Executive” is a singular noun. “Women reporters” is the only plural noun (noun phrase, for you sticklers) in this headline. Are the “women reporters” celebrating their “World Series berth”? I doubt it. Is it the executive? Not likely. OH! CNN means the TEAM was celebrating. But “team” is a singular noun!

WTF, CNN, can’t you all write a clear headline?
